01When is the best time to go on safari in Kenya?

Kenya is a year-round safari destination, but the best period depends on what you want to see. June to October is generally drier and popular for classic game viewing, while January and February can also be excellent. Green-season months bring lush landscapes, birdlife and fewer visitors. For a Great Migration-focused journey, we plan around current seasonal patterns rather than promising a specific river crossing.

02How many days do I need for a Kenya safari?

A short one- to three-day safari can work well from Nairobi or the coast, while five to seven days allows a more balanced multi-destination itinerary. Eight to ten days gives more time for slower game viewing, conservation areas or a bush-and-beach combination. We recommend the duration after considering your arrival point, preferred parks and realistic driving times.

03Can Prince Safaris customise the itinerary?

Yes. Published packages are starting points rather than rigid programmes. We can adjust the route, number of nights, travel pace, private or shared vehicle basis, accommodation category and selected activities around your dates, interests and budget, subject to availability and park or conservancy rules.

04What is normally included in a safari quotation?

The exact inclusions depend on the itinerary, but a quotation can include safari transport, professional guiding, scheduled game drives and activities, applicable park or conservancy fees, selected meals, drinking water and accommodation where required. Your quotation shows what is included and excluded before you confirm, so there are no assumptions about major trip components.

05Can I combine a wildlife safari with the Kenya coast?

Yes. Bush-and-beach itineraries can connect wildlife areas such as Amboseli, Tsavo, the Masai Mara or Laikipia with Diani, Watamu, Malindi, Mombasa or other coastal areas. We choose the road, rail or flight connection according to your route, available time and budget rather than forcing an inefficient transfer.

06How do I start planning and when is the safari confirmed?

Send us your preferred dates, group size, interests and approximate budget. We then shape a practical route and quotation, discuss any changes with you and confirm availability. A safari is only treated as confirmed after the agreed booking terms and required payment steps have been completed.
